Learning-based i-Design

Learning-assisted procedures for i-Design would ensure the actual generalization of the design procedure in dealing with non-conventional topologies and functionalities.

LEMMA group is starting investigating a possible joint exploitation of these two paradigms, linked one to each other through the physical knowledge of the problem at hand.

As a first attempt, we focused on the i-Design of lens antennas by developing a deep learning-based approach, implemented as a tandem network [1].
