Available Source Parameters: Array Elements
Locations (with unitary-amplitude Excitations)
Far Field Pattern: Pencil Beam
By exploiting the skills available in the optimal synthesis of continuous sources, the synthesis of the locations of arrays whose elements have a constant amplitude is conveniently formulated by exploiting an improved ‘density taper’ technique for both cases of linear arrays [1] as well as for the case of circular-ring planar arrays [2],[3].
